Peanut was rescued 5 years ago and adopted into our family when she was just a puppy! Zoe’s Animal Rescue knew that Peanut was part German Shepard but wasn’t sure what else she was mixed with. She kept growing and growing and we weren’t sure when she was going to stop! Her body finally caught up to her massive paws, and although larger than we expected, she turned out to be nothing short of a gentle giant. Ever since she was a puppy, she followed us everywhere and takes up more room in our bed than we do. She loves to go camping, run at the dog park, go for bike rides and rollerblades, and hang out on the couch with us while watching tv. Since we rescued Peanut, our family has grown by 2 little ones. Peanut was the main reason we thought we were pregnant with our firstborn, laying on my stomach and being very gentle. She is amazing with both of our children and I couldn’t imagine life without this energetic, cuddly, goofy puppy we call Peanut. She continues to follow us everywhere but has two extra little ones that she loves to protect and play with. The endless laughs and smiles she has created for our family is immeasurable. We could not have asked for a more loving rescue puppy for our family.
