On Hallowe'en Day, 2019, we drove to Red Deer to meet a beautiful little puppy we had seen on the Central Alberta Humane Society's website. We immediately fell in love with her, named her Scout, and brought her home to Edmonton. We took this photo of her a few weeks after she started her new life with us. Scout has grown into a dog with a very big personality. She uses a broad range of barks, whines and howls to let us know when she is not getting the attention she so richly deserves. Also, somehow she has managed to persuade us to relax the rules that all our other dogs have had to obey. "Don't sleep on the furniture! - well, okay, you can." "No, you can't sleep in our bed with us at night - well, okay, you can." She is a very loving dog who enjoys being close to us at all times and is always ready for snuggles. Scout has been a wonderful addition to the family and we love her very much.
