Your Rescue Story
Hi there!
My name is Jax (Jackson Baloo), a 10-year-old Irish Wolfhound/English Sheepdog. I was rescued by the Central Alberta Humane Society in 2015, with a group of very special pups called the Milk River Dogs. My mom (Robyn) was down at the Humane Society for a causal visit one day and well... to my forever home I went!

Mom always says how lucky she is that I came into her life. We've been each other's best friend since that very special Day 1 and we have such an amazing bond.

I love to nap anywhere & everywhere, and I'll play with a toy here & there only if I think no one is watching! (I'm silly like that) I am the sweetest & most friendly guy that loves all the attention I receive when we go out and about. If you stop petting me, prepare to be pawed at until you start again ;)

In 2021 I won 1st place in the Who Rescued Who Calendar Contest & in 2022 I came in 2nd! This is Mom and I's favorite fundraiser of the year, as it allows us to give back to the people that saved my life. I'd love to help CA Humane raise even more money this year because they absolutely deserve it!
