Your Pet's Story
My Husband and I rescued Fynn from a bad situation when he was only 9 months old. We promised him a “FOREVER” home.
Fynn turned 17 years old this past July 13, 2025.
We have had the good fortune to have had Fynn in our lives for so long. We have watched him go through the stages of life, from puppy antics to the senior he has become now, Fynn has slowed down considerably over the years. The walks in the park and swims in the lake are now slow sniffing expeditions. We just let him go at his own pace sniffing his surroundings as his eyesight has declined considerably. And when he’s too tired to walk anymore ,we carry him home. Fynn’s hearing has declined as well but he gets lots of love and tender caresses to let him know we are always near.
Fynn’s has been and continues to be a blessed gift to our lives. We take it one day at a time now. Each day is a treasure we hold dearly in our hearts. We can’t ever know how long we will be blessed with Fynn in our lives, but every day is a gift. As hard as it is to know the end will come one day we wouldn’t trade or change anything.
Our journey with sweet Fynnie will remain a fond memory forever in our hearts. As long as he remains with us on this side of the rainbow bridge, we will continue to love and cherish him every day.
