Central Alberta Humane Society operates a 12,000 sq. ft. Animal Care and Humane Education Centre to support the needs of lost and unwanted companion animals in the Central Alberta region. Over 600 animals are adopted into loving homes each year from our state of the art shelter. In addition to the animal services we provide, we offer compassionate outreach to our community through pet therapy and emergency boarding for the pets of homeless and victims of domestic violence. Providing exciting and interesting humane education and volunteer experiences to children will ensure that the next generation grows to understand compassion for animals and people alike.
