A little about me...
September 2019 we unexpectedly lost our 12 year old Yorkie due to having non stop seizures. Although, we had another fur baby the house seemed empty. I started searching rescue websites and almost rescued our new fur baby. Things didn’t go as planned so I keep looking. I heard about CAMO through a friend. At one of their adoption events I found another dog I liked, but something didn’t feel right so we chose wait. The first part of March 2020 I was looking on Camo’s website and the perfect fur baby was available. I was so excited I sent messages through Facebook, emails, texts to CAMO! I know I drove them nuts, but this one was not getting away from me.

Macy’s story
February 2020 a lady who had recently lost her husband and was trying to take care of her 4 kids and 3 dogs. It was too much for her to handle, so she surrendered the 3 dogs to CAMO. Macy, originally named Honey, came into our life March 13th. We live in Wylie, so we drove a total of 8 hours (going and coming) to Houston to pick her up. She’s one lucky puppy because if we had waited we probably wouldn’t have been able to get her due to Covid-19. This picture is of one of her nightly routines, laying in my husband’s arms sleeping. Macy is an absolute joy and we are so happy to have her.
