Dog's Story or Bio
I started following the Camo Rescue page on Facebook in 2019. All the pups were oh so cute and I had been thinking about adopting a yorkie so that my Rosco wouldn’t be alone. One day Whiskey’s little face popped up and it was instant!!! Even my husband was all in!! We put in the app and were lucky enough to be chosen to be his forever family.
Whiskey was found roaming the streets (owner refused to secure yard) and he was frightened of men wearing hats. Being so timid, he was obviously mistreated.
Little did we know that we needed him as much as he needed us. He has been an absolute joy. He is a kind soul and the biggest snuggle bug. He loves his Jamie (our daughter whose in grad school) and he waits and runs to the door when he knows she’s home. He loves playing with his toys and is the best sleep buddy! He loves going everywhere with me! When he climbs into your lap, he lays his head on your chest, as to give a “hug”.
Camo Rescue is the most caring place I’ve ever seen for the unwanted, terribly treated little guys. I am so thankful for our Whiskey and thank all of those in their organization and the fosters and vets that make it all come together. God bless you all!
