We saw Peppers shelter mug shot pop up on Camo Rescue instagram during the Texas freeze 2021, he had been saved from a shelter, transported to the home of a wonderful foster family. I quickly filled out an application and jumped on the chance to communicate about this big guy because I was safely following Camo Rescue “small and scruffy” in hopes for a “BIG and scruffy” one day. As soon as we saw him in the Foster’s care home (video and text photos) and confirmed he would be a good fit (loveable, smart, goofball) we made the best choice during an otherwise weird time of our lives. We prepared and adopted! 2.5 months later , he has graduated doggy basic manners training with flying colors- this gentle country boy, is now a rock-star city slicker - he loves people, kids and other dogs and they love him. He is a joy to have in our family and can’t imagine life without this big guy.
