Dixie was a foster who came to me with her sister Daisy. They both had severe distemper. Unfortunately, right after Christmas 2020, Daisy lost her fight while I was at work one afternoon with Dixie right beside her, only 2months old. But Dixie she was a survivor! Her personality just shined! Once she was ready to be adopted, we took her to 1 meet & greet. The perspective family saw the connection our family had to Dixie and called me the next day, and offered to help pay the adoption fee for us to keep her. We talked about it after crying of course, and knew Dixie was meant to be part of our family! So we did! On 2-14-2021 she became our forever Valentine! When we received her vet paperwork they had her date of birth as 10-16-2020, the day before my husband and I got married..10-17-2020! She WAS MEANT for us!
