Arrrrgh!! Pirate Captain Romeo is here!! You may remember my CAMO Rescue story. My past life has not been an easy road. When I was a puppy, a child injured my eye with a golf club. I was given up for euthanasia, but CAMO saved me. I had to have my eye removed, and that's how I became a pirate! I was adopted, but then they didn’t want me anymore and just abandoned me. They said I was sick but I felt fine. Thank goodness, my chip led me back to CAMO. CAMO took me in again and made sure I was healthy. I was pretty sad and lonesome for a while. It felt like I would be alone forever. One day a man and a woman came to meet me and they introduced me to their dog, Sammy. They were a lot of fun! They came back a few weeks later with a red leash and red collar, and brought me to my furever home! Now, I play with my big brother Sammy all day long, and I have a big yard, a soft bed, lots of good treats, and a jillion toys. Daddy says my good eye is “bionic” because I am really good at playing catch with the tennis ball. Despite everything I've been through, I'm the happiest boy. I found my pirate’s treasure in my new home!
