Your Dog's Story or Bio
We adopted Frog in October 2019. In April we had lost both our Irish wolfhound girls sixteen days apart. It broke our hearts. We decided later in the year to adopt. We were told to look at 4lyfe and that’s where we found Frog dog. He was being fostered by the wonderful couple Drew and Lex who own Belconnen Pets. They did a superb job with raising Frog, the boy who came to stay turned out to be the perfect dog for us.
We wanted to downsize from IWF hounds so to us Frog isn’t big, he’s 50 kilos lighter than one of my girls and half the height. People always mistaken him for an Irish wolfhound, we chuckle, if only they’d seen Quinn.....
Anyway, he is the most loving and affectionate dog I have ever known. He’s full of energy, swims all the time, loves all dogs and people. He’s protective of his home and humans, but not in a bad way. He goes everywhere we go, he will be at the Balloon Festival with us all week! He is just a pleasure, not possible to be in a bad or sad mood he comes up with a toy or he leans in for a cuddle.
He is a delight!
I could go on and on but you get the picture, in my humble opinion he is our version of the best dog in the world!
