Bernie Sanders is a social and energetic Iggy (Italian Greyhound). When he’s not busy dismantling capitalism Bernie likes playing fetch, walking up Mt Painter and wearing fabulous coats. Bernie’s motto is ‘a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.’

Bernie is passionate about universal access to veterinary care for all dogs. When asked to comment on his run for Canberra’s top dog, Bernie encouraged everyone to vote - ‘my campaign is about puplitical revolution, doggocracy is not a spectator sport!’
