Prizes

The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 most voted entrants. The top 13 pets with the highest votes will have their pet professionally photographed (30 min session) by Ina J Photography for the 2023 Canberra Paws calendar.

All winners will have the opportunity to upgrade to a full session and to purchase artwork following their session. 

• The pet with the most votes will be the winner and will win the coveted cover photo for the 2023 Canberra Paws calendar and an additional page in the calendar (for the month of January of the following year as the calendar covers 13 months - 2023 plus Jan 2024) !
• a professional pet photography session with Ina J Photography for the 2023 calendar cover.
• an 8 x 10 inch Metal print or a 9 inch circle wood print (with a timber stand) of a photo of the client’s choosing valued at $250 (chosen at the ordering appointment)
• a social media sized digital file of the chosen calendar photo
• plus $250 credit towards artwork of photos from their photography session to apply at the ordering appointment.

The next top 12 entrants with the next highest votes will get a spot in one of the months of the 2023 Canberra Paws Calendar and a $200 credit towards artwork for photos of photos from their photography session.

• The 2nd - 13th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month for each month of the year in the calendar
• a professional pet photography session with Ina J Photography (30 min) 
• a social media sized digital file of the chosen calendar photo
• plus a $200 credit towards artwork for photos of photos from their photography session to apply at the ordering appointment..

All winners will be booked in for an ordering appointment to purchase prints and products following their session. You can view Ina J Photography's artwork here.

*If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the 2023 calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to Ina J Photography on pre-selected dates at pre-determined photo shoot locations in Canberra and surrounding regions during June to October 2022 for a professional on-location pet photography session. If you are unable to commit to a session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next highest voted pet will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.


Each week I'll be holding a mini contest and one pet who gets the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini contest prize from one of the supporting businesses. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets. Certain individual business restrictions and limitations may apply and may vary by business. You will be provided with the business contact details and you are responsible of contacting the business to collect/claim your prize. Ina J Photography is not responsible for these restrictions and eligibility requirements as determined by each business.
