Your Pet's Quirks
One of Reese's quirks is that since we adopted her, she sleeps under our Christmas tree next to the stuffed animals each year. She blends right in with the stuffed animals, so you wouldn't realize she is a real cat under there if you didn't know her, especially when she is curled up napping! Another quirk is that she must be the baby of the house. We had a son, Levi, in July. Since then, everything that is Levi's...car seat, bouncy seat, changing pad, etc., is now just the right size for her.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Reese is a shelter cat we adopted from Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg, MS. When we first saw her at the shelter, she came immediately up to my daughter and myself, meowed, and proceeded to make herself a purring "shoulder kitty" on each of us in the 'meet and greet' area. Reese picked us as her forever family. Her nickname soon after bringing her home became "Scarf Kitty" because she liked to wrap herself around our necks like a scarf, lay there, and purr. Eventually, she adapted to her new country home, and now she spends a great deal of her time outdoors hunting mice, moles. an occasional bird, and bugs of all sorts. So, Reese isn't so much of a "Scarf Kitty" anymore. She has a confident attitude these day and now has the nickname "Saucy" because of her spunkiness.
