Your Pet's Quirks
Woodrow misses us so much when we leave the house that he likes to go into the bedroom, sneak under the bed to grab our shoes, and place them along window seal one by one. Then he lies there with our shoes looking out the window and waiting for us to return.
Woodrow also has a weakness for breads whenever we are away for long. He will manage to grab a loaf of bread from the top shelf without disturbing anything else, and devour it without leaving a single crumb! And boy does he have the perfect guilt face...

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Woodrow and his sister Willow were given to CARA in a shoebox around Christmas 2012 after being found on the side of the highway. His sister Willow was adopted first, leaving Woodrow lost and confused. He was fostered for a short while, and was a popular pet at many adoption events, but never found his forever home until we came to CARA on Dec. 7th, 2013 just to "look around."
At first, Woodrow was shy, timid, and had severe separation anxiety. He would cry and destroy his kennel each time we placed him in there as we left the house. We soon vowed to never lock him in the kennel and showed him that we loved him indefinitely, easing his fears and anxiety. One year later, he is the most playful, loving, cuddling, mud jumping, pond swimming, trash digging, trick performing pup we could ever ask for!
