Silo is a gentle giant who was adopted at CARA a year ago. He loves to snuggle ... and lay on a pile of hot clothes from the dryer :)

Sally "that girl" loves to stand near the refrigerator and catch ice from the dispenser ... and climb on to tall things ... and snore ... and bark ... and chase laser lights ... and chew up everything she can get in her mouth.



Your Pet's Story or Bio
Silo, our first rescue, was adopted directly from CARA. He was a shelter pup for a year when we first saw him. One week after we visited him, he was posted on CARA's Facebook page, and we took that posting as a sign to adopt! He was found in NE Jackson as a stray.

Sally was adopted, with the assistance of Valerie Hicks and CARA, from a high-kill shelter in Memphis, TN. She was found in a field on the outskirts of the city and was only given a week to find a home before she would have been euthanized. We were contacted about Sally on the night before she was scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, through CARA and a friend of a friend of a friend, we were able to bust her out early that next morning.
