Short story about how you got your pet
Daniel was abandoned in Haverstraw last year. He was outside trying to survive but was picked on by dogs and other cats. Care About The Strays rescued him and brought him to me and my husband to foster. He needed immediate surgery for severe injuries. During his recovery we kept him separate from our other cats. He was frightened and aggressive because of the trauma he had been through. But we fell in love with him and little by little have assimilated him into our family. Now he's a very happy and gentle boy and enjoys our peaceful home with his six other kitty buddies.
