Hi, Mosby here. I am such a happy boy and love to have my picture taken! I also love to dictate when everyone goes to bed, when to get up in the morning, when it is time for my meals, when it is time to play mouse or feather with me, when to brush and style my fur, more rubs and scratches now, and of course, please get out of my favorite chair so I can take a nap. Now, I wasn’t always such a confident, handsome boy. I arrived at the shelter after an altercation with a dog, and was very frightened. I was known for going to the back of my pen and hissing, and just being difficult overall. I was called Andre, and it seems no one was interested in dealing with me. Then my new family saw my scared little face in a picture on the website, and having just lost their 17 yo fur girl, they inquired about my status. After lots of info and guidance from the shelter, they decided I could be converted and brought me home. After weeks of hiding under the bed in my personal bedroom, and enduring endless talking and coaxing, treats to trick me, and feather chasing, I finally decided to venture out into this new world, and there was no looking back! So now I live large as Mosby and would like to remind everyone that sometimes a little guy needs some reassurance and time to get there, but then he will love you forever, so don’t overlook us grown frightened kitties, or kitties that need to be taught life is good.
