Rocket (formerly known as Rochester) joined our family in March 2021. This chunky hunk (14 pounds) spends his days resting up for his next nap, waiting for the refrigerator deli drawer to open, and sun-bathing on the window sill. Rocket's big personality makes him a hit at parties and he’s never a stranger for long. He quickly acclimated into our home and befriended our resident tortie. Rocket loves to play with his toys, chase a laser or swat at a string, and beg for lunchmeat, ham being his favorite.

We don't know a lot about Rocket's background, other than he arrived at the shelter in August 2020 and spent some time as the lobby cat. He had two great fosters before we adopted him. After seeing his adoption profile online for several months, we decided to do a meet and greet with the big guy. When you meet Rocket, you fall hard for him. He’s been a wonderful addition to the family.
