I fostered Maddie after my first boxer passed away. She had been diagnosed with heart-worms . We fell in love with her the first night. When I took her back to the SPCA to start her treatment, I prayed the whole way that she would be ok. On my way home from dropping her off, they called me to come back and get her because she tested negative. They sent a blood sample to the lab to confirm and that came back negative. I adopted her immediately and she has been a part of our family every since
