Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Pierre (known as Jared at the shelter) in April 2021. I didn't know very much about beagles, but I quickly fell in love with all of his quirks, even that signature beagle stubbornness. We welcomed Styley, our first foster, in to our home in January. While I initially did not intend to adopt another dog, both Pierre and I fell in love with sweet Styley. In Pierre’s case, he became too attached, literally - he always had to be touching her whenever they were curled up on the couch! Except for being loud and loving food (they’re beagles after all), Pierre and Styley couldn’t be more different, but they complement one another perfectly! Styley’s boundless energy keeps Pierre moving when he would much rather be asleep on the couch, and Pierre’s social butterfly nature helps shy Styley feel more confident meeting new people and dogs! They can be a handful, but they bring me, and so many others, so much joy!
