Pet's Story or Bio
Maddie Mei was recovering from parvovirus (was previously dropped off at SPCA). Her weight was 52 lbs and now she weighs 70 lbs!
Per Embark DNA testing she is 50% Siberian Husky, 29.4% American Pit Bull, 10.4% American Staffordshire Terrier & 10.2% American Bulldog. I guess you can call her a “Pitsky”. Maddie Mei definitely has a strong personality and knows what she wants. She loves to chase tennis balls and can spend hours chewing on rubber toys and hard bones. Maddie Mei is very protective of me, her new sister Lexi (also adopted from the SPCA), the house and yard. The backyard is completely fenced in and is surrounded by the woods and wildlife. Her favorite pastime is watching the deer graze and walk through the yard/woods.
She just LOVES car rides! I never had a dog that rides in a car so well-she just sits or lays down enjoying her time in the car. She has come a long way since her adoption - she is very loving , she can be a bit of a little “clown”, and smiles a lot.
