Scooter was rescued by CASPCA in summer of 2022, from a hoarder. He knew nothing about human touch, human love. But he was a quick learner once he went into the care of his incredible foster mom. He’s a long legged, deer head chihuahua mix. Not your average chihuahua! Big soft ears and those long, long legs! A few white dots on his back, and he would look like Bambi!

I first saw Scooter on the website and instantly knew he was the one! After losing my precious Paisley suddenly to heart disease, I needed to transfer my love to another dog. We finalized his adoption in November last year, and have no regrets! He has become a wonderful, sweet boy who has adjusted well! He trusts me completely. He’s still a bit kiddish around men in particular.

So lovable, this boy! My constant companion! He’s learning to venture out and explore. It truly is a joy to watch him find new things and show his fun, playful side day after day! He has found his furever home, and we have found joy and happiness in this little guy! He is my fur baby and loved beyond words!
