My husband and I were looking for a certain type of furry small dog when Elbee Aka Starfox, my my doggie soul mate, appeared on the Charlottesville SPCA website. Elbee is a character and also very loving, loyal, and cuddly. He is a therapy dog but so much more than that! We are very bonded but he loves my husband too and gets so excited when he gets home from works. He does a little dance and is very vocal, letting him know how happy he is. Prior to this I sadly had to give my hound dog up because there was a very unfortunate accident. There was a serious dog attack where I was injured. I was afraid of dogs for some time but decided after some months that I might feel safe with a small dog. Then Elbee came into our lives and he has more than restored my faith in dog/human relationships and helped me feel safe again. Thank you SPCA for giving me this precious gift. Thank you foster mommy Megan for taking him into your home and preparing him for his forever home!
