Dodger (fka Dawson) came to CASPCA in early February after he was found roaming a yard in Crozet. We came in for a Sunday visit without a thought to adopt. Dawson still needed to be looked over by the vet and I wasn't considering a 4th dog. However, once we were home I couldn't get Dawson and his sad eyes out of my mind. I've always wanted a Beagle and started thinking he could be a good playmate for my young lab. I reached out to inquire and was put in contact with Dawson's foster mom. We set up a meet-n-great at the SPCA with my 3 pups and it couldn't have gone any better. We took Dawson home and he completes our family. He will never go without food, shelter or love ever again.
