Louis was a rescue all the way from LOUISiana after Hurricane Barry in 2019. After his long drive from the bayou, he was at the CASPCA for a short time before he came home with us. We met him in one of the outdoor meet-n-greet kennels in late July…he pounced on our, then, 5yo son who then let out the biggest belly laugh as ‘Boomer’ (his CASPCA name) licked him all over the face. We were in love! And Louis came home with us that day…with all his wild, feral ways!! He’s the sweetest dog- we call him our Dixie Dingo! He loves people the most, and gives the best snuggles and kisses. We can’t imagine our family without our Louis!!
