We had initially gone to Lacey's foster home to adopt her sister, Torrie. We signed all of the paperwork and had just stepped out onto the porch when we turned around and saw Lacey looking at us through the front door. Her pitiful expression seemed to cry, "Don't forget about me!" She immediately stole our hearts. While driving home, we decided that we just had to adopt both sisters. In the 12 years that Lacey has filled our home with love and purrs, we have found her to be very needy of love and attention. That being said, it might just be that we are really the needy ones.
