Nellie was adopted on July 24, 2019. Her previous owner passed away suddenly in December and her foster mom spent the last seven months working with her to build trust. Nellie & her new mom met recently and immediately bonded. While she is still quite nervous, she has been exploring her new home, enjoys running up and down the stairs at 2:00 am, playing with her new toys, and loves morning snuggles with her mom! Nellie is proof that sometimes life can be challenging but if you hang in there, things will get better in the end! She is looking forward to celebrating her 4th birthday in her forever home on September 1st! Thank you for your vote!
