Moustacha’s name was inspired by her mustache! She is a 1 year old that we found alone under our deck. We began feeding her throughout the Summer last year. Eventually she would come to the front door every night and meow very loudly. She was saying “Hey! It’s my dinner time.” We realized she was quite dependent on the food we gave because she was so skinny when we met her. As the winter months approached we brought her in as our own. Soon enough we realized why she had meowed so loudly at our front door. Moustacha is deaf! She doesn’t come when we call so we’ve had to adjust our way of getting her attention. She spooks easily, as she doesn’t hear anyone walk up to her when she is sleeping. Moustacha is our wonderful special needs cat!
