Hello friends, my name is RoCCo . Hope you don't mind, but instead of letting my parents write about me, I decided I can do it much better or at least I'll try. Eleven years ago,July 4th, 2009, the story begins. Do you believe in miracles? My parents saw my announcement for adoption in the Sun, so my dad called and the Castaway Critters' agent politely said no , I had been already asked for as there were already so many on a unusually long waiting list. Remember I did say 'MIRACLE'. Well so much for that long list! Then there was my C.C.foster parents. I have to give so much credit to them too. Especially my foster mom for her maternal instinct, SHE made this new life for me. With the few words I have left, let me draw you a picture or two of my daily life since my new life began. I was about 6 or 7 years old, 11 pounds. Nervous, sometimes a little mean, seizures, scared. I'm a new boy now at 14 pounds, and you just wouldn't know me now. I enjoy long drives-although I sleep through every mile I know somewhere along the way there's ice cream and maybe a hamburger in the plan for me. I've sometimes been seen riding a vintage BMW motorcycle with my dad, and I go as fast as 15 mph! I love to swim too, just take me to a pond/lake! My days are always full, however these days in my old age I've been sleeping a lot more. I have been hand fed twice each day since I moved in. This is a very special ritual for me. My health is great now. I'm so fortunate too for my Dr. Ed and nurse Margret Mimnagh for helping me age so well. Well I hope my note will inspire you nice humans to keep doing all the great things you do for us on all fours and the feathered too. Time for me to give some licks and kisses. RoCCo
