Sir Isaac is a trail dog who loves nothing more than hiking with me, except in rain. This photo is along the Appalachian Trail near Rt. 183 when I stopped to get my camera from my daypack. He is very patient regardless of whether we are doing trail maintenance or ecology research, always finding a cool shady place to wait until we move on.
