I adopted Minnie from Cat Haven when she was about 12 weeks old, knowing that she is completely deaf. This would reduce her chance of adoption, but I knew she was purrfect for me! She is the most relaxed cat I have ever had! She follows me when I vacuum and plays with my hair when I use the hair dryer. She smiles when she meows (as evidenced by the picture) and is completely unaware of how loud she is! Her favorite places to be are in my lap when I sit down, and in my face when I'm eating!
