Jinx was once named Jake. He came to Cat Haven from a tragic situation where an elderly couple was murdered. Cat Haven took 6-month-old Jake, his 3 siblings and a mother cat and kittens from their home. I fostered Jake and, on the way to his neuter appointment, my car was rear-ended. Jake was adopted but soon returned. The adopter was kind, but I think what she avoided saying was "Jake is a bully". As I was picking him up, it started to rain - hard. Too late, I realized that I should not have pulled into the flooded street. As I rescued Jake from my flooded car and waded through 3 feet of water infested with red ants, I realized that he was a Jinx. Jinx has been with me ever since and is now 15 years old. I am happy to say, his luck has changed!
