What's your purrmance story with your cat?
Love at first sight? Is there such a thing? YES! Rocket was adopted when he was just 2 months old, shortly after this photo was taken, like 5 minutes after the photo was taken! We fell in love instantly! We were at a Pet Value store to get food and there he was in a cage by himself. The store clerk allowed me to take him out and this photo was snapped at that very moment. He was adopted to be a companion for my 10 year old Russian blue nose, Stanley and for me, obviously. I'll be submitting another entry with Stanley, otherwise I'd feel like I'm betraying my old friend. Rocket was named after the great Rocket Richard and yes, Stanley was named after the Stanley Cup. Rocket greets me at the door every night and wakes me every morning by sitting on my chest and licking my face until I wake up to feed him. When he's not eating or sleeping, he's chasing Stanley or the puck on our TV when watching hockey games. He's one of a kind and a very important member of our family.
