Jesse and Lola

What's your purrmance story with your cat?
We adopted our cat Lola (4 yrs) in 9/2013 at a local cat shelter. She was hiding in the back of her cage when she caught Jesse's eye (my husband). The volunteer said that she had been there just a few days and was still not used to the commotion of the shelter. Jesse asked to see her and sat down with her in his arms. She was so sweet, but seemed unsettled due to her new, unfamiliar surroundings. We decided then to take her home and she has been a part of our family ever since. She is such a sweet lil girl, all 8 lbs of her! She tolerates our many, many daily kissed, hugs, and pets with great kitty finesse. I sometimes wonder about her previous life and think that they would be comforted in knowing that she ended up finding a loving, forever home.
