What's your purrmance story with your cat?
Blossom and her siblings were heard crying over a weekend from under a shed. Their mother had been killed on the road. I got an email saying their cries were being heard, it was midnight on a Sunday and it was raining.
My son and I quickly drove over to the location, flashlights and canned food in hand.
We sat at the shed, in the pouring rain, and did not hear anything. I then made noises like the mother would when she calls her kittens, and then we heard frantic cries coming from under the shed, in response. I put the food down and the three came out, one by one. I slowly picked each one up and put them in a carrier.
I brought them home, fed them, gave them a warm place to rest, they were so tired and hungry.
Blossom just loved me so much. Her favorite place was on my shoulders and head. She loved to play with my hair and I called her my new hairdresser.
They all found forever homes. This is what rescue is all about. Helping those that cannot help themselves. I just love the babies.
