Peaches was rescued from a sidewalk at age 6 weeks suffering from feline herpes that caused a severe respiratory and eye infection; and a corneal ulcer in her right eye. A few days later, the eye bulged out of the socket. After several months of around-the-clock meds, lots of TLC and 3 cancelled surgeries because of her small size, we managed to save her life and the eye. Miraculously, she still has a small amount of corneal tissue and can see a bit with it - likely just shadows. She's a little over 1 1/2 years old now.
