Since 2001 Life Start has been providing foster care services tailored exclusively to the needs of children with Complex Developmental & or Fragile Medical Conditions throughout the state of Ohio. Infants & children with intellectual/developmental disabilities & or medically fragile conditions who have experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment are at times placed in institutional settings when removed from their families due to the child's extensive care requirements. Life Start Inc. strives to prevent institutionalization of children by providing a highly skilled home environment the children deserve and desperately need. Foster or adoptive families with Life Start Inc. provide safe, skilled & loving experiences for children leading to permanency for the children through reunification with biological family or adoption by the child's forever family.
