Tell us about your organization and why people should vote for you
We are a community garden organization and a bonafide 501 C3 holder since 2009.
We began in 2007 and have been growing fresh produce for area pantries and hungry families and individuals all that time on our properties in Olde Towne East.
We have won multiple awards from Franklin Park Conservatory's "Growing to Green" initiatives.
We also hire summer youth interns, host neighborhood activities and participate in Earth Day, Community Shares and area farmers markets amongst other organizations.
We partner with the Franklin County Municipal Court juvenile and adults court sections as citizens complete "community service" adjudications.
We sit at 913 E Mound and across the street on Columbus Land Bank property.
We also have a pocket park and greenhouses on the property of Old First Presbyterian Church at S Ohio and Bryden 43205.
We also allow neighbors to pick from our community growing area and have individual gardener plots available for $30, per row.
Our website is "fourseasonscityfarms.org and we are on Facebook under our name.
