A little about this image...It is easy to overlook the small details around us in nature: we see grand landscapes and hillsides of blazing fall colors, but don't notice the smallest flowers or the delicate seedpods. I was photographing a mountain stream when I noticed something shiny on the pine tree behind me: perfect droplets and drips of sap! I was mesmerized by the magic of the beautiful glistening globes.
