A little about this image...
One of my favorite places in Yellowstone National Park is the Mammoth Hot Springs travertine terraces. There are endless patterns, delicate ledges, flowing water reflecting clouds, solid but every-changing. Here, the drama of the white travertine and the distant sweeping dark slopes caught my eye. Vast and beautiful, one is awed by Nature.
