A little about this image...These Bristlecone pines are some of the oldest living organisms left in the world, and they stand twisted and shaped by the winds. The trees themselves are great subjects, but lining up the Milky Way just gives it that little extra touch. The glow on the horizon and the lighting on the tree is the light pollution of Denver.
