A little about this image...
I was photographing this dragonfly and then suddenly noticed it had something in its mouth. I zoomed in and realized it was eating yellow jacket wasp. I was completely taken aback because I didn't think a wasp would be in a dragonflies diet. After doing some research, I learned that dragonflies are actually very predatory, and they also eat bees and sometimes butterflies. However, yellow jackets can still sting dragonflies so I'm not particularly sure how they could eat one with it still having a stinger.
