A little about me...
Joshua was rescued on a freezing January day from a hoarding situation in southern Virginia. Among 60 dogs, he was one of the shyest and needed special attention. A few months after his rescue, the Rockbridge SPCA reached out to AWLA for help. With the AWLA's staff and volunteers' continued patience and care, Joshua began to come out of his shell and feel safe in the world. Now he has dog friends, knows where all the cookie boxes in Old Town are, and frequents all the dog-friendly businesses on King. In fact, if you are up early, you've likely heard him howl with happiness at the thought of going to get his special cookies on King.
