JC WalshA little about me...
Special Agent (named “Duke” by AWLA in 2002) changed my life for the better, helped me work through post9/11 challenges and brought out a level of care and compassion I never before realized I had. He has made life better from the day in October 2002 he came home to now, as he approaches his 19th birthday. He has persevered through multiple health challenges and tolerated many foster cats turned permanent feline family additions. He has traveled the world virtually as his hair always found its way on the clothes I packed; and his name and sociability have brought smiles and comfort to many. While he has aged out of chasing toy mice and the elusive laser light and tearing-up with joy over food, Special Agent maintains a curiosity that shows itself on chaperoned walks around the garden on a harness/leash, combined with a brief stop (this photo) to rest and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. He truly is the treasure and I am grateful AWLA saw fit to approve me to be his guardian. If your animal is from a specific animal shelter/rescue organization, please list the organization so we can give them special mention in our calendar.
