A little about me...
Hi, I'm Ecco, short for Prosecco because a Wine Dog has to have a wine name - more on that later.

I'm a Yorkshire Terrier and was supposed to be a breeder girl, but they said I was too small. Imagine! I'm not technically a rescue, but I am so glad my mommy saved me from the breeder home. The larger Yorkies in the pack bullied me to the point that I was afraid to eat out of a bowl. Mom used a kibble trail and slowly taught me it was safe.

That's all in the past. Today, I'm a happy dog about Old Town (aren't all the new outdoor restaurants great!) You may have spotted me on one of my frequent walks on the Mount Vernon Bike Trail - I just love to strut my stuff.
