My family went to CHA to visit with another dog, but after seeing Kira (previously Laverne) in passing, we knew we had to meet her. Kira has been an amazing addition to our family; all she wants is to be around her people and loves everyone she meets. Despite being a 50 lb puppy, she refuses to be told she’s too big to be a lap dog :)
