Your Pet's Story or Bio
CHA has been a large part of our family's life. From adopting our first cats (when it was just my husband and I) to the first cats my sons met (we even named the cat CHA pronounced "Chay"). We went to CHA to pick up our race packet for our favorite run of the year, the dog jog. My husband immediately found our Cali. She was sitting sweet and quiet, just waiting for us. We didn't adopt her on the spot, and left worried another family would adopt her first. When we went to the race, she was one of the featured animals. She was so well behaved. I told the children if they walked all three miles, we would adopt her. My youngest son was hot and tired and wanted to quit many times. But he kept thinking of our Cali, and finished the race. Now she is home.
