Benny was surrendered to CHA in 2012. He was quickly adopted, but returned after a few months. He was high energy and definitely has a lot of personality - it was a bit much for those folks! I was filling in on staff at the time and I thought he might be a good companion for my dog Ollie. My other two dogs were older and did not have the patience or level of playfulness to match Ollie's. I brought Benny home to foster and the boys hit it off immediately, so we had to make it official. He also became a constant companion to his three human siblings, and even tolerated costumes and wearing sparkley bows. Benny is definitely a "mama's boy" and is always at my side. He frequently joins in on Teams meetings and charms my colleagues. He is still a character and as ornery as ever!
