Harry was brought in to the Chance of a Lifetime Dachshund Rescue after being picked up off the streets in Virginia. At the time, he was severely underweight and had lost a lot of his fur. When I first saw him, I knew that we wanted to adopt him. He required surgery to remove a traumatized eye as well as repair oral nasal fistulas before he could be cleared for adoption, but we brought him home in as a foster to adopt until he was medically cleared to adopt. Thanks to the love and care he received from COALDR, he is thriving. He is an amazing little guy— happy and loving to all and we are so grateful for the chance to have him as part of our family.
